Roundtable of AHWIN-Related ERIA Studies on Population Aging and Long-Term Care
October 18, 2019
Under the auspices of AHWIN, the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) partnered with Japan Center for International Exchange to co-organize a roundtable event that brought together researchers involved in the AHWIN-related ERIA studies that were launched in 2017. By having the teams present their research, the objective was to allow for information-sharing, cross-pollination, and network-building among the various research teams, which in turn should increase the likelihood of future research collaboration and ultimately strengthen the foundations of the AHWIN-supported ERIA research program.
The Asia Health and Wellbeing Initiative (AHWIN) is an initiative of the Government of Japan that aims to promote regional cooperation that fosters sustainable and self-reliant healthcare systems in Asia. The Healthy Aging Prize for Asian Innovation (HAPI) and this website are operated by the Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE) and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), which serve as civil society partners to AHWIN.
